Volunteers play an integral and key role in ensuring the success of any event. We value the role that they play. It really does take a village.
We will be looking to recruit a vibrant team of volunteers to act as stewards, runners and administrators to assist with set-up, operation, take-down and tidy up, both during and outside of festival hours of operation.
Volunteering is an opportunity to gain hands on experience working as part of a events management team. Whilst there is no financial gain for volunteering your services, volunteers will be recognised through a certificate and letter of recommendation from the organizer. This could count towards school credit / work experience hours.
The skills / qualities of the volunteers that we require are as follows… skills do I need to volunteer?
~ Well presented.
~ Listening to constructive feedback.
~ Work intuitively.
~ People orientated.
~ Good sense of humor.
If this person sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!
PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers will have an opportunity to meet with festival organizers prior to the event, and must be available for training and briefing in their roles, from Monday 12th February – Wednesday 14th February after 4pm. Day & Time TBC!
How do I apply to be a volunteer?
Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the Title Heading ‘Volunteer’, by January 15th 2018 to let us know your preferred availability? Those with availability throughout the festival will have priority selection.
