Discount codes are only applicable against workshop passes, not Showcase or Jam Session tickets.


Level Descriptors

We understand that all participants learn at different paces and are their own personal phase and journey with their learning. We provide the below key as a guideline only. Due to the combined levels of each workshop, the teacher will teach the same content, the main difference will be the speed of delivery. Those preferring a more leisurely class are encouraged to apply towards Beg /Adv Beg level. Those who are seeking more of a challenge should opt for the Inter/Adv level.

In any event, teachers will differentiate the steps, rhythms, tasks and choreography to accommodate the differing levels. The main difference in the levels will be the speed of delivery.

Key to Levels

Beginner: 0-2 years of study.
Advanced Beginner: 3-5 years of experience.
Intermediate: 6-8 years experience.
Advanced: 8+ years experience.

PLEASE NOTE: It is at the discretion of the organizer in consultation with the participant to switch the participants level after they have made their booking. We ask you to choose safely as we only have limited space in each studio, and switching / changing will only occur under exceptional circumstances.

Professional Showcase – Apt33 – Where Dreams Are Made (FRIDAY)

Straight outta NYC… Chloe Arnold’s Apt33 Tap Dance Company will be making their UK debut and kicking-off TDFUK Winter Intensive 2018 with there full-length show ‘Where Dreams Are Made’ on Friday 16th February. Apt 33 is an eclectic group of tap dancers who moved to NYC from all over the world to pursue their Tap Dance dreams. Home to professional tap dancers Chloe & Maud Arnold, Apartment 33 has acted as a creative hub and often times a home for artists where the natural dynamic at play has lead to the mentoring and development of diverse talents with a common passion. From Broadway to touring and even national television, these success stories are joining forces to celebrate the art that has brought them together: TAP! A musical score that contains some of your favorite artists and tracks from Alicia Keys to John Legend to Rihanna, paired with Choreography by the Emmy nominated Chloe Arnold, and Directed by Emmy Award Winner and Tony Nominee Ted Louis Levy, Produced by the Maud Arnold, this show will not fail to inspire and impress. Recently featured as part of the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival in NYC and received warm reviews from the New York Times, this show is one NOT TO BE MISSED! Guests are able to purchase tickets for the showcase separately at a cost of £20. Discounts are not eligible on tickets! Workshops

Themed workshop’s will be delivered by each member of our outstanding faculty. Each participant will have an opportunity to absorb themselves in different styles, rhythms, techniques and choreography as well as developing their understanding of how to build their improvisation muscle.

Panel Discussion

Participants have the opportunity to pose important questions to faculty members, and receive insider information about each individual’s unique journey as a professional in the industry. Learn about ‘the business of show business’, and what it takes to be successful in the performing arts industry.


Jam Session

Jam sessions provide participants with an open platform to meet, express and communicate with each other through the language of Dance. Participants apply their improvisation skills that they have developed through participation in the workshops. The Jam session environment is strictly non-competitive, and creates a safe open space that supports participants to raise their level of artistic expression, confidence and self-esteem.

For Full Weekend Pass holders the Jam Session is ***FREE***! All other workshop holders are encouraged to come and join this excellent session to stretch your imagination, skills and boost your confidence.

Future Faculty Lab Series

This is a open and experimental space for registered participants to share their work with other festival goers. We will allocate a time slot on Sunday 18th February in the AM, where participants joining us may pitch and lead a workshop of their choice to the TDFUK family. This initiative has been developed with the intention of creating a space for the next generation and up coming talent to develop their artistry, share their work, hone their teaching skills, and build their portfolios. This is an opportunity for the organizer to scout for future faculty talent. A call for entries will take place mid November through to mid December. Student / Faculty Showcase – Stars of Today and Tomorrow (SUNDAY)

Performances lead by local and national Tap Dance performers and groups of performers, to include exclusive performances by select members of our esteemed faculty. Participants, performers, family members and other guests are able to purchase tickets for the showcase separately at a cost of £10. Discounts are not eligible on tickets!
